We was recommended to use Grant as our wedding photographer by my brother in law who has known Grant for many years. After our first meeting we decided not to talk to other photographers as Grants friendly and professional manner made our minds up that he was definitely the man for the job !
I liked the way he listed what and
who we wanted in our photos and his sensitivity towards our very
complex families ( i.e. deceased members of the family and
extended members of the family) After the meeting he was prompt
in emailing the itinerary for our big day. We was very happy
with this. We were extremely lucky with the weather on our
wedding day which made it ideal for grant. We could not believe
how many photographs (over 2000) he took and can honestly say we
was not aware of him taking photos while the ceremony took
place. We got married at Moore Place Hotel in Aspley Guise and
the grounds made beautiful backgrounds for family and friends
group photographs. Grant really capture the whole feel of the
day from our elderly grandparents chatting to our toddler nieces
and nephews running around and looking for fish in the pond. He
captured our friends dancing to live music outside on the patio
( Grants very talented daughter brought her guitar and sang
beautifully.) He also took photographs on the dance floor at the
evening disco making good use of the coloured lights.
It was very difficult to choose 40
photographs for the album as there was so many. We fell in love
with both formal group photographs and the informal photographs
of our guest chatting and laughing. It was even trickier as
Grant then gave additional options of black and white and then
colour painting different parts of a photo, for example the
bride groom, bridegrooms father, all the ushers and the brides
father standing along side the wedding car in black and white
with the addition of all ties colour painted purple- this looked
great! We did choose this photo of course and Grant has used it
in his gallery.
When we show the Wedding album to our
friends and family, comments have been very complimentary about
his style and the quality. We are delighted with our photos and
the canvas and cannot praise Grant enough. We are so glad we
choose him, he was definitely the right man for the job and
comes highly recommended!!
